DROITWICH Spa battled to a 2-1 win against Fairford Town to secure a third straight league victory. A late goal from Fairford substitute Tom Chamberlain set up a tense finish but Spa held on to claim the points. Spa responded with a couple of chances of their own as Reiss Taylor-Randle and James Lemon both saw efforts blocked. And only a crucial save from Fairford goalkeeper Connor Johns kept the visitors in the contest at the break. Fairford pushed for an equaliser but Spa held on as Andy Crowther’s side celebrated a third successive victory.
