THE VASAANTI restaurant in Droitwich is in the running for a Master Chef Promotions Business Hospitality and Excellent Award. The Indian eatery will find out if it has won at an awards ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on Wednesday, August 27. The Vasaanti, which is run by owner Akbar Miah, known as Aki, and his team, has become popular across Worcestershire and further afield. The Master Chef Promotions Awards recognise excellence in hospitality businesses, enabling them to showcase their talent and dedication to the industry. The restaurant has fought off competition from hundreds of entries and has been shortlisted in the Restaurant of the Year Worcestershire category.
