APPLICATIONS for school places across Worcestershire in September 2026 will open soon. Applications open on September 1. Parents and carers can apply if their child is due to start school for the first time or will be moving to a middle or high school in September 2026. The deadline for high school applications is October 31, 2025, while the deadline to apply for places at for primary, first, infant, junior and middle schools is January 15, 2026. Guidance on starting school and moving on to the next stage of education will be available on the Worcestershire County Council website.
