DROITWICH-based EXCELR8 Motorsport have signed a multi-year deal with Vertu to take effect from the start of the 2026 season. British Touring Car Championship front-runners EXCELR8 and Vertu, the fourth-largest automotive retailer in the United Kingdom, first joined forces back in 2021. Vertu then took up the role of EXCELR8’s title sponsor the following year through its Bristol Street Motors brand. And the deal coincided with EXCELR8’s rise to the pinnacle of the sport when Tom Ingram won the BTCC title in 2022. Team Vertu drivers Ingram, Tom Chilton, Adam Morgan and Senna Proctor have combined to score 23 podium finishes from the first seven meetings of the season, including five race wins.
