Press release from Greenwich Police, Oct 2, 2025:The Greenwich Police Department in conjunction with the Town of Greenwich will be launching an automated photo speed enforcement program at the Central Middle School, Glenville School, Greenwich Academy, Greenwich High School, Parkway School, North Street School, Brunswick Lower School and Eagle Hill School. In Greenwich at these school zones, we had 223,109 drivers a week in the school zone with 44,208 speeding vehicles. An additional 1,940 speeding vehicles were exceeding 21 MPH or more over the enforceable speed limit across these school zones. Our goal is to increase safety for students, parents, teachers, and the motoring public traveling through our school zones. If you are traveling through Central Middle School, Glenville School, Greenwich Academy, Greenwich High School, Parkway School, North Street School, Brunswick Lower School and Eagle Hill School zones during school hours, these cameras will be active.
