A COMMUNITY group to scrutinise the care and restoration of the Raven is being set up by Droitwich Spa Civic Society. Acting as an independent critique, the group will keep an eye on key developments with the Raven after it was decimated by a fire in recent weeks. The first meeting of the group will take place at 7.30pm on Wednesday, September 10 at Droitwich Methodist Church. Councillor Richard Morris, who has been heavily involved in meetings with key stakeholders regarding the future of the site, will attend the meeting to provide an update for attendees. Structural engineers, heritage organisations, building preservation trusts and key local political authority’s are all involved in the discussions and work.
