Ferry services around the north-west coast of Scotland are facing major disruption as Storm Amy hits. Caledonian MacBrayne (CalMac), Pentland Ferries and Northlink Ferries are all warning passengers to expect cancelled services. On the north coast, Pentland Ferries sailings between Gills Bay and St Margaret’s Hope are mostly under review. On Saturday, a spokesman for Pentland Ferries said all sailings were “highly likely to be cancelled”, with a final review due on Friday. All Pentland sailings on Sunday remain under review, with further updates to follow as storm forecasts are updated.
