Sheridan Man Arraigned for Drug Distribution

An arraignment was held Thursday in Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan for a 34-year-old man charged with the distribution of methamphetamine in the Sheridan area.
Sheridan Man Arraigned for Drug DistributionDuring the arraignment hearing, James Allen entered not guilty pleas to the charges of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance – methamphetamine, and two counts of delivery of a controlled substance – methamphetamine.
The conspiracy charge is for allegedly conspiring with other individuals to distribute meth in the Sheridan area between March, 2024, and September 2025.
Allen’s arrest was part of an investigation by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation into a methamphetamine distribution ring in Sheridan County.
Judge Phillips agreed to a request to modify Allen’s bond to a cash or surety posting, but stipulated that the bond would remain at $15,000.
