Campbell Law School’s Ciara L. Rogers, director of the Stubbs Bankruptcy Clinic, has been selected as a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) 2023 Class of “40 Under 40.”The ABI recently announced the honorees of its 2023 Class of “40 Under 40” award program, and Rogers, who is a partner at Waldrep Wall Babcock & Bailey PLLC, was among the ones chosen, according to the firm’s website. ABI’s “40 Under 40” program recognizes emerging leaders in the insolvency profession who are an inspiration for the commitment, creativity and ingenuity that they demonstrate in both their careers and communities. The honorees will be recognized at a special ceremony on Dec. 1 during ABI’s 2023 Winter Leadership Conference at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in Scottsdale, Arizona. Since 2018, Rogers has led the law school’s clinic, where Rogers supervises second– and third-year law students in providing pro bono bankruptcy representation to low-wealth individuals in the Eastern District of North Carolina. She has also taught the foundations of bankruptcy law course at Campbell Law and speaks at conferences on various bankruptcy related topics.
