Developer Chancerygate has submitted plans to speculatively develop 53,000ft² of Grade A sustainable urban logistics space in Old Trafford, Manchester. Called UrbanX, the proposed development will comprise two leasehold units, one offering 30,200ft² and the other 22,800ft². Chancerygate senior development director, Chris Brown, said: “Our proposed UrbanX development will enable urban logistics occupiers to conveniently serve the expanding Manchester city centre. “The proposed scheme is targeting best in class ESG credentials and specification, appealing to modern logistics and distribution businesses across the region. “We now look forward to working closely with Trafford Borough Council to progress our planning application and to deliver a prime economic asset for the city.”
