Restorative Justice: Taking Matters into Others’ HandsI remember the first day of sixth grade as if it were yesterday. This is the obstacle that restorative justice circles address. Suspension, in particular, makes students feel as if no one is listening to them and that people have given up on them. By hearing how they’ve made others feel, students learn first-hand how they have affected others. While we learn a lot from books at school, we could also learn about each other using restorative justice methods.
