The Adamawa State Government has approved over N26 billion for capital projects aimed at improving road infrastructure, boosting agricultural productivity, and strengthening essential public services across the state. The approval was given at Thursday’s State Executive Council meeting, presided over by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri at the new Council Chamber in Government House, Yola. In Madagali, the 14-kilometre Sukur Road will undergo a N4.43 billion upgrade, and N3.24 billion was earmarked for asphalting the 10.3-kilometre Kishinga Road. “These road projects are expected to significantly improve connectivity and stimulate socio-economic development in the affected areas,” Iliya stated. Iliya said the sweeping investments reflect the Fintiri administration’s commitment to infrastructure expansion, agricultural advancement, and improved public service delivery in Adamawa.
