Make a ChoiceDuring the 2008 presidential election, my father brought me with him to the polls. A vote is more than the election itself; a vote represents the ability to choose. When the suffragists fought for the right to vote, they fought for the right to matter. The turnout of the white working class illustrates again the power of the vote, which voters will hopefully understand in 2020.
