News Headline -The Kaduna State College of Nursing and Midwifery released a bulletin dated 16th September 2025, announcing the suspension of ND programme in nursing 2025/2026 academic session. The college cited the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) accreditation for both ND and HND as the main reason for the suspension. The reason based on the advise of the NBTE is not binding on the college, it only occurs due to failure of the college management to follow due process in respect of admission procedure. This inefficiency demonstrates poor planning and gross mismanagement on the part of the college management. Parents and guardians who have invested emotionally and financially in preparing their children for admission will suffer undue hardship and disappointment.
