Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization amounted to $987 million, down from $1.06 billion in the same period a year ago. The Grains & Oilseeds Platform had lower operating results in the context of softened origination and processing margins amid policy uncertainty around tariffs and tax credits, LDC said. In North America, construction advanced on a new oilseed processing facility in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, US, and work continued on expansion of an existing oilseeds processing plant in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Canada. The financial effects will be recognized in the company’s financial statements for the year ending Dec. 31, 2025.
