Wallace had served on Ardent Mills’ board since 2020, and she most recently was president of US origination and grain at Cargill. This past May, Ardent Mills rolled out Cocoa Replace, a wheat-based, clean label alternative to cocoa powder that can replace 25% of cocoa powder in cakes, brownies, cookies and muffins. Also on the expansion side, Ardent Mills last year announced an expansion and upgrade of its mill in Commerce City, Colorado, US. Ardent Mills, too, sold its Tualatin, Oregon, US, bakery this past July. “Ardent Mills is truly leveraging those capabilities,” she said.
