It's a question philosophers, scientists, and movie buffs alike have been pondering since 1997: how do you remake Anaconda? The answer, according to The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent filmmaker Tom Gormican, is actually apparently quite simple — you make a movie about making a remake of Anaconda and you stick Jack Black, Paul Rudd, Steve Zahn, and Thandiwe Newton in it. Here's the official synopsis for the Gormican and Kevin Etten penned film: "Doug (Jack Black) and Griff (Paul Rudd) have been best friends since they were kids, and have always dreamed of remaking their all-time favourite movie: the cinematic "classic" Anaconda. But things get real when an actual giant anaconda appears, turning their comically chaotic movie set into a deadly situation.
