Advance Info 259Preliminary Inquiry (PI) to identify and select companies that are interested in and capable to provide maintenance services for the roads of the ALMA Observatory, located close to San Pedro de Atacama, Chile. The scope of the services include:- road surface replacement;- base material supply / transportation / preparation;- road moistening/sweeping;- snow clearance and rainwater drainage improvements;- culverts maintenance;- road safety devices maintenance;- quality control: topography, technical inspection, trial laboratory services, etc. Additional optional scope includes:- civil works to perform detailed design to enhance existing or construct new drainage culverts. The Contractor shall provide the required supervision, operators, materials, machinery and equipment to perform the maintenances and construction. The contract will start on 1 January 2021, for a period of 5 years.
