The French government has denied claims that the personal details of millions of people who used the official ANTS website have been hacked and are now for sale on the dark web. The unidentified group posted messages online claiming that the personal data was now for sale on the dark web, offering sample data to apparently prove that their hack had been successful. The Agence Nationale des Titres Sécurisés website, commonly known as ANTS, is the French government website used for admin tasks such as swapping or updating driving licences, changing vehicle registration details or obtaining a French passport or ID card.
