IMNAHA — A Joseph man was found dead Saturday, Sept. 20, after his pickup went off Dug Bar Road about 12 miles north of Imnaha, according to the Wallowa County Sheriff’s Office. The Wallowa County Search and Rescue at about 9:55 a.m. Sept. 20, received a report of the crash, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office. Members of the sheriff’s office, including search and rescue, responded to the scene. Two motorcyclists had discovered the pickup about 75 feet down a ravine lying on its side, according to the sheriff’s office. The ropes team from Union County SAR was notified, but stood down once it was clear the Wallowa County ropes team could handle the situation.
