This marks the next phase of Evanston’s Putting Assets to Work (PAW) initiative. Adopted by the city council in 2024 and supported by a federal innovation grant, PAW aims to transform underutilized city assets into projects that deliver community amenities, financial benefits and taxpayer savings. Evanston community members are encouraged to visit the PAW website to help design the future of our city’s most important civic spaces.
