Backers included redalpine, IQ Capital Partners, and Seedcamp, and support from Oxford University Innovation. The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts. Founded by Dr Garry Pairaudeau, Adrian Rossall, Dr Anthony Bradley, and Professor Charlotte Deane MBE, DaltonTx provides a platform that is purpose-built for both small molecules and biologics, making it suited to support complex R&D pipelines. Furthermore, the company enables collaborative intelligence: scientists can interact with the system, combining their expertise with an engine that iterates and learns, combining human insight and machine learning work together.
