This fall, JUNO-nominated reggae powerhouse Jah’Mila reunites with Symphony Nova Scotia to premiere an electrifying new program, Oct. 3 and 4 at the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium. Known for her dynamic stage presence and genre-defying artistry, she draws on her Jamaican reggae roots while weaving in elements of R&B, jazz, funk, and soul. Under the direction of conductor Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser, she will join Symphony Nova Scotia to bring a vibrant fusion of styles for what organizers call an unforgettable concert experience. Symphony Nova Scotia, based in Halifax/Kjipuktuk, has been championing symphonic music in the province for 40 years. The Prismatic Arts Festival is an annual multidisciplinary festival that highlights innovative work by Indigenous artists and artists of colour from across Canada.
