Each year, on the third Friday of September, ordinary parking spaces around the world are transformed into extraordinary places. Instead of protest, this year’s Park(ing) Day emphasizes delight: pop-up tea houses, quiet spaces for rest, street libraries, and miniature gardens. For those of us in the parking industry, Park(ing) Day is more than a whimsical moment. As we celebrate Park(ing) Day 2025, we encourage everyone in the parking sector to take inspiration from the creativity on display. Parking may begin with cars, but as Park(ing) Day reminds us each year, it can lead to so much more.
