POLICE are investigating a car-key burglary and an attempted car theft in Rubery. The burglary took place around overnight between Sunday and Monday when a black Land Rover Discovery Sport, with the partial registration ‘BD16’, was taken, without keys. Then around 1.15am on Thursday, a sophisticated attempt was made to steal a car in Lyndon Road, Rubery. Two me, dressed in black, were seen to be using a laptop and scanner near a vehicle, but ran off when disturbed. They made off in an awaiting car and headed off in the direction of Richmond Road.
