MAINTENANCE work on the M5 will see lengthy closures in both directions at the Bromsgrove junction over the next couple of months. National Highways is carrying out safety works between junctions 2 and 3, including resurfacing and renewing the road markings, to provide a clearer and safer carriageway for road users. There will be full overnight closures in both directions on separate occasions, with southbound journeys affected between junctions 3 and 4 from September 1 to October 14. A further overnight southbound closure between junction 3 and 4 will take place on December 12. Closures will take place on weeknights between 8pm and 6am for works to be carried out.
