A MAN in his 20s has died after a serious collision in Northfield on Monday. The incident happened on Norrington Road around 4pm. The man, who is in his 20s, received specialist trauma care at the scene before being taken to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital. West Midlands Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is currently working to establish exactly what happened. Sgt Rich Evans from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “This is a tragic incident, where a young man has lost his life and our thoughts remain with his family and everyone who knew him.
