Kind-hearted Bromsgrove’s Evie, 12, raises more than £1,400 for the MNDA, inspired by her dad who has the disease
['Updated']
The Bromsgrove Standard
A TENACIOUS 12-year-old from Bromsgrove has been walking an incredible 15,000 steps-a-day throughout August to raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA).
Evie Marsh wanted a challenge for the summer holiday so decided to take part in the MNDA fundraiser.
Her dad, Chris, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2022.
Evie has raised cash before for MNDA by selling her toys on the front drive, but has never done anything like this.
“It’s not just about the money (but that helps) – I want to raise awareness of this ‘rare’ disease.
