BROMSGROVE Sporting suffered a second-half collapse to exit the FA Cup at the first qualifying round stage following a heavy 5-2 defeat against Evesham United. However, Evesham stunned the Rouslers with three goals in the space of nine second-half minutes as Reegan Messenger scored a brace while Andre Wright also found the net. And Lewis Middleton added a late fifth goal for the home side as Sporting’s FA Cup campaign ended at the first hurdle. Both Evesham and Sporting play at Step Three with the Robins plying their trade in the Southern League Premier South. Sporting conceded again on 63 minutes as Wright turned a defender inside out before lashing a shot past Adam Harrison at his near post.
