BROMSGROVE’S award-winning Avoncroft Museum is set to bring the sites and sounds of the Middle Ages for a weekend of Medieval merriment. This colourful, noisy spectacle is a highlight of any medieval event and provides a centrepiece to a great day out. Lynda Case events co-ordinator at Avoncroft Museum explained “There is something for everyone to enjoy, from the domestic household camps creating traditional food and creating complex bread ovens to learning how to tell a commoner from the nobility in a costume talk, along with an interactive displays including the Kiddie Drill and armouring a knight.”The full timetable is available to view on the Avoncroft Museum website. Alongside these activities Avoncroft’s buildings, will be open for exploring including the Windmill and Medieval Town House. Avoncroft Museum in Bromsgrove shows midlands life from the 1500s to the present day through a collection of buildings.
