BROMSGROVE Sporting slumped to a heavy 4-0 home defeat against St Ives Town to remain winless at the Victoria Ground this season. Goals from Ethan Creary, Jamal Adams, Jernade Meade and Amir Hadi inflicted a fifth straight defeat on Sporting in all competitions. However, St Ives broke the deadlock on 12 minutes when Creary fired past Adam Harrison from eight-yards out after Sporting failed to clear their lines at a set-piece. St Ives all but sealed the points on 51 minutes when Meade outjumped Harrison as the pair battled for a loose ball and finished into an empty net. Bromsgrove are next in action against Banbury United on Tuesday, September 9 with kick-off at 7.45pm at the Victoria Ground.
