Telus is launching a new email protection service in Canada aimed at stopping phishing attacks and other threats before they hit business inboxes. The cloud-based system, built with technology from Israel-based Check Point, blocks malicious emails in real time instead of scanning after delivery. Its API integrates directly with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, while also extending protection to collaboration tools such as Teams, SharePoint, Slack, and Dropbox. “With cyber threats evolving daily, our partnership with Check Point delivers the industry’s most advanced email protection, giving our customers the confidence to operate securely in an increasingly digital world,” said Carey Frey, Chief Security Officer at Telus in a statement. Telus says businesses will also have round-the-clock monitoring from its security team.
