Mason Hudson led the way with two goals as Polk County improved to 9-0-2 overall and 5-0 in conference play while extending its unbeaten streak to 11 matches. The tactical approach proved effective through much of the first half as Polk County struggled to find the breakthrough despite dominating possession. The second half saw Polk County settle into a rhythm and pull away. Head coach George Alley made a halftime adjustment to move Tallis Metcalf into a more defensive position in midfield.
