St. Luke’s Episcopal Church is organizing the Ballard Pet Celebration at Ballard Commons Park on Sunday, October 5. Come at 12:00 pm for a short pet blessing service with St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. Bring your pet, a photo of a beloved pet who has passed, or photos of critters in your life that cannot be at the event. As of the announcement, 14 nonprofits and businesses have confirmed their participation, including the Seattle Animal Shelter, PAWS, Doney Coe Pet Clinic, Seattle Veterinary Outreach, and Homeward Pet Adoptions. The event is free and will be held 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 5.
