Srinagar, Oct 2: The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) on Thursday remembered father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi on his Jayanti and paid the departed leader floral tributes. JKPCC also remembered Lal Bahadur Shastri on his Jayanti, recollecting the selfless services of both towards Nation building and people empowerment. J&K Pradesh Congress Committee held a tribute function at Srinagar Party Office to mark the Jayanti of father of the Nation and Former Prime Minister of India Lal Bahadur Shastri, said a statement. MLA Bashir Ahmad Magray, MLA Nizam Ud Din Bhat paid floral tributes to father of the Nation and Former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, it said. Karra also highlighted the great contributions of Lal Bahadur Shastri towards inclusive development of India.
