Jaguars defensive end Travon Walker is entertaining the idea of playing in an NFL game less than a week after surgery on his wrist.
Jacksonville head coach Liam Coen revealed on Thursday morning that Walker underwent surgery after he was hurt in Sunday’s 26-21 Week 4 win at San Francisco.
“Saw a specialist on Monday, had a surgical procedure done, will be listed as day-to-day,” Coen said of Walker.
If Walker, 24, is cleared to play Monday, he could wear a protective brace and be under snap-count limitations.
Walker has played in every game (38 consecutive starts) since the beginning of his second NFL season in 2023.
