In past years, the mayor of Culver has been appointed by the city council. The candidates for Culver mayor are Anzie Adams, incumbent, and Dan Harnden, currently the council president. Whichever of the two candidates does not win the race for mayor will likely remain on the city council. If Harnden is elected mayor, Adams would continue serving the rest of her council term. If Adams is elected mayor, the council likely would appoint Harnden to fill Adams’ vacant seat on the council.
