A warrant-based search has led to the arrest of an Emporia man for suspected drug distribution. The illicit drug allegedly involved and the alleged amount have not been specified. Hayes says the warrant was “successfully executed.” Formal charges are pending through the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office. Wednesday evening’s activity involved Lyon and Greenwood county deputies, Emporia Fire and Lyon County Emergency Communications.
