Glasgow man appears in court in connection with ongoing human remains investigation

A man has appeared in court in connection with an ongoing investigation into the death of a man whose remains were found on the shore of Loch Lomond.
They were later identified as belonging to Graham Wright, who was reported missing from Glasgow on August 25.
On Tuesday, police arrested a 53-year-old man in connection with the case.
John Roarty appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, charged with attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
He will appear before the court again within the next eight days,Mr Wright’s death continues to be treated as unexplained.
