Tyler Childers is on the wind-down of his On The Road tour which started back in April, with the singer-songwriter passing through New York City for two nights at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens this week. Armed with his new album, Snipe Hunter, and opener Medium Build, Tyler Childers and his Food Stamps backing band brought the “Honky Tonk Flame” from the Kentucky holler to the Big Apple. Childers wasted no time digging into his latest album, starting the show with album-opener “Eatin’ Big Time”. Childers also played “Jersey Giant”, a longtime cult favorite among fans despite the fact no official recording exists.
