From joining student organizations and attending baseball games to studying abroad and meeting new people, Cal State Fullerton’s first-year students are looking forward to the fall semester. More than 11,000 students and 1,200 parents and supporters registered for summer orientation, hosted by the Department of Outreach, Recruitment and Orientation. This year, CSUF introduced a new format for orientation, grouping students by major to help them build peer connections. “Orientation is a special time at Cal State Fullerton. It marks the beginning of every student’s unique journey as a Titan,” said Christin Johnson, associate director of outreach, recruitment and orientation.
