On the back of a breakout performance, the Stony Brook men’s soccer team used a timely brace from midfielder Ryota Kono to finish unbeaten for a third-straight game.
After a series of substitutions in the 28th minute of the game, Stony Brook was able to find the net for the first point of the game.
On the offensive side, Kono led in shots with three for Stony Brook.
Following a 3-0 defeat in its last match-up against its cross-island rival, Stony Brook will have a chance at redemption.
