Commissioned by developers Vistry Group and L&Q, the study highlighted a strong and growing sense of satisfaction, alongside increased perceptions of safety and wellbeing. The study was carried out between 2023 and 2024 by Social Life, a specialist centre of research into the social life of communities. Vistry and L&Q are building 3,463 homes on the estate. Residents in new homes already released report significantly better wellbeing, reduced safety concerns and a better perception of their surroundings compared to those still on the older estate. Moreover, they felt an active Community Board gave them a stronger sense of voice and influence.
