The return of the Nike Air Max 95 Neon with a Big Bubble treatment rendering its Air bag more true to original proportions kicked off a massive year for the 30-year-old sneaker. The Nike Air Max 95 Ultra Neon plays it close to the iconic colorway but with a lighter, streamlined construction. The Neon colorway was used to introduce the Air Max 95 to the world in 1995, and a Reverse Neon colorway pulled from designer Sergio Lozano’s sketches was used for a release limited to the Museum of Modern Art in April. The Nike Air Max 95 Ultra Neon will release during the upcoming holiday season, likely through Nike’s website and select third-party retailers.
