The line was blocked this afternoon due to a fault with the signalling system at Shipley. Northern first alerted customers about the issue on X just after 4pm. They added that Network Rail engineers are working to rectify this issue. However, it was only said at 8.40pm that the disruption had come to an end. A post on the Northern X page read: "Disruption caused by a fault with the signalling system at Shipley has now ended.
