Norz Hill Farm and Market in Hillsborough received the "Farmer Recognition Farm to School Award" from New Jersey's Department of Agriculture on Sept. 22. The recognition stems from their work connecting students with local food sources and farm education. The timing matched the state's 15th Jersey Fresh Farm to School Week and third Ag Literacy Week. They learn why fresh food matters for their health. Since 2010, state law has backed Jersey Fresh Farm to School Week.
