With just two weeks to go until its launch on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, one of the most anticipated games of 2025 for Nintendo fans, is back in the spotlight with a brand-new trailer. To give it a final touch, the developers even state that it is an experience not only for die-hard Pokémon fans, but also for new players who are about to toss their first Poké Ball. As for the content attached to the Nintendo Switch Online subscription, most fans are particularly mad about the Kalos starter Megas being “locked behind online” instead of everyone being able to use them organically during the adventure. Well, despite all the complaints being fair to say the least, Pokémon Legends: Z-A launches on October 16th for Nintendo Switch 1 and Nintendo Switch 2, with the first wave of the Mega Dimension DLC content coming out on the same day for the $30 price. Its second wave, which adds additional story content that continues after the main base game, is planned for February 28, 2026.
