FARGO — Some 200 veterans from the region woke up in their own beds on Wednesday morning, Oct. 1, hours after returning from another incredible Honor Flight trip. The Honor Flight was a chance to connect and contemplate at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial wall. As the years have ticked by, the Honor Flights have become full of Vietnam-era veterans. Upcoming events to support Honor Flights include a bowling fundraiser at Sunset Lanes on Oct. 18 and Fargo Force Jersey Night on Nov. 15.
