OTTO TOWNSHIP —A fatal accident involving a 24-year-old man from New York Mills was reported south of New York Mills at 8:08 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1. ADVERTISEMENT“The adult was located in the ditch unresponsive,” the press release stated. The man’s identity has not been released, but the press release stated he drove a Dodge pickup, stopped at the scene and was cooperative with the investigation. He was not arrested at this time, according to the press release. Responding to the call were the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office, Perham Police Department, Minnesota State Patrol, New York Mills Rescue, Astera ambulance and Life Link.
