Ysgol Carrog has earned the Gold Cymraeg Campus Siarter Iaith award, recognising its promotion of the Welsh language. "We have been promoting the Welsh language and culture around the school and encouraging everyone to speak Welsh whenever we can. "After lots of hard work, the school has been awarded the Cymraeg Campus Aur (gold) Award and we are so happy." The award makes Ysgol Carrog the first Welsh second language school in Denbighshire to receive the gold standard. "Achieving the gold Cymraeg Campus award is testament to this and will only strengthen our commitment to proving a high standard of Welsh throughout the school.
